Brackett recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Fashion Furniture Rental in San Diego, California. In that role, Dave oversaw all aspects of the company, helping grow revenues by over 30% in a five-year span. During the past year, he was also President of the International Furniture Rental Association (IFRA). Before his time at Fashion, Brackett served as Senior VP at The Irvine Company in Orange County, California, where he revamped and restructured their apartment operations while overseeing 40,000 units.
He has experience in multiple positions with property management and operations in the multi-family space, including lengthy tenures at Oakwood Worldwide and Archstone, a well-known national real estate investment trust, in addition to a unique background with luxury furnishings and staging. These experiences will allow Brackett to play a pivotal role in directing and aligning the property management division to meet company standards in areas of financial performance, leasing, marketing, maintenance, compliance, and employee and resident satisfaction.

In his role of SVP of Property Operations, Brackett will be spearheading the success of the Milhaus property management division to ensure an outstanding service that is employee and customer-focused.

Brackett earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in economics. He has served as a board member of multiple organizations, including the California Apartment Association, California Apartment Association of Los Angeles and Orange County, and Tri-County Apartment Association in northern California. Brackett has also served on the state-wide Board of Directors for the California Apartment Association. He also was a member and served on committees with the National Apartment Association (NAA) and National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).
