GRAND RAPIDS, MI — TowerPinkster, an employee-owned multi-discipline architecture, engineering and interior design firm, announces the advancement of four employees to join the shareholder group at the firm as Associates. The four team members include Greg Adamczyk, Shelbi Iseminger, Yvonne VanWormer and Zach Verhulst.
“Greg, Shelbi, Yvonne and Zach are very talented and devoted members of our team,” said Bjorn Green, President and CEO of TowerPinkster. “Their leadership and engagement with our clients and our mission made them ideal candidates to join our shareholder's group. We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to the success of each of them within TowerPinkster. As we evolve as a firm, we continue to strengthen the team by cultivating our next generation of owners and leaders.
The background of the new Associates is as follows:
Greg Adamczyk, PE, HFDP, LEED AP
Adamczyk has more than 15 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a concentration in engineering consultation, maintenance engineering and project management. He is experienced in a variety of projects and has completed multiple projects for health care, food and beverage and pharmaceutical organizations. Adamczyk is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineering, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and is a certified Health Facilities Design Professional. He utilizes his experience to provide leadership in mechanical engineering design for building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping and controls and energy efficiency.
Shelbi Iseminger, NCIDQ, IIDA
An Interior Designer, Iseminger has experience with projects in all of TowerPinkster’s targeted markets. Iseminger joined the firm as an intern while at Western Michigan University and transitioned to a full-time employee upon her graduation. For the past eight years, she has been honing her skills in programming, space planning, design development, furniture and finish selection, signage, drawing production and coordination. She excels in developing photorealistic renderings, giving her clients the ability to interact with the space before any construction begins.
Yvonne Vanwormer, NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED AP
VanWormer is a certified Interior Designer with project experience ranging from health care to K-12 schools to corporate environments. With a specialty in furniture layout and space configuration, she advocates for unique product applications within technology-rich environments. Her projects have varied in scope from small renovations to specifying furniture and creating space layouts for entire buildings. VanWormer also spent two years as an On-Site Facilities Designer at Pfizer.
Zach Verhulst, AIA, NCARB, NOMA
Verhulst is involved in the design and development of complex facilities across various markets. Acting as Project Architect and Project Manager, he excels at integrating architectural and engineering systems on many different scales. His success lies in his understanding that dynamic collaboration is essential to the successful completion of a project. Very active in the Grand Rapids community, Verhulst sits on the board of directors for Blandford Nature Center and Covenant House Academy and is a former board member for Heartside Business Association.
